When you use Hugo to build a website, there are many ways to organise your workflow using the tools of your choice.</p> <p>At the moment, I mainly use MyHugoDesk to manage my Hugo projects. However, I still use GitHub Desktop to commit and push my changes to the GitHub repository. What was my goal? I wanted to use the Hugo static site generator to create a simple, fast blog without the maintenance overhead and security concerns of a traditional CMS. Hosting costs were another factor, although there are many inexpensive hosting options available today.</p> <p>Why did I choose Hugo? At first, it looked incredibly simple. I only had to download a single executable file—nothing else. No additional frameworks, no complicated installation. However, once I started using it, the experience was quite different.</p>
